We start with your procurement requirement or sales offer, identify suitable business
parties and help align the commercial agreement and logistics. Our role is defined

THE PROCESS

## Four steps from enquiry to execution.

**1. Understand the enquiry**We discuss the product, technical specifications, quantity,
current location, destination, target price and time frame.

**2. Evaluate market opportunities**We research potentially relevant buyers, suppliers
or trading partners and evaluate the commercial feasibility of the request.

**3. Negotiate and clarify terms**If a suitable opportunity is found, we assist 
with communication around pricing, payment, delivery, contractual parties and our
remuneration.

**4. Coordinate the logistics**When needed, we assist in sourcing transport, cargo
handling, storage and specialist documentation support from independent providers.

TWO COMMERCIAL MODELS

## Brokerage first. Direct trade where appropriate.

### As an intermediary or agent

Maalko introduces potential buyers or sellers and can support negotiations. The 
product transaction takes place between the agreed contractual parties. Our agency
fee, scope and payment conditions are confirmed in advance.

### As a direct trading company

For certain transactions, Maalko may purchase goods and resell them for its own 
account. In these cases, our commercial return comes from the agreed trading margin,
and our obligations are determined by the sales contract.

Logistics and warehousing arrangements are agreed separately, including which provider
performs the work, who contracts with that provider and any applicable insurance
or liability terms.
